It may be a far fetched idea, but providing them with a curriculum with just their favorite subjects and letting them enjoy the rest of their time in more useful and practical subjects for life can be more productive.

Including farming, gardening, agriculture, mechanics, plumbing, electrical work, etc would not hurt. It would make a whole generation more self-sufficient and make education more effective.
