If you're mathy, you can calculate the upkeep for each of your troop types and add it. Well, your troops are no different and that is what this stat shows you. SPEED — this number refers to is how fast your troops move. In Monopoly, you roll a die and are allowed to move however many spaces according to what comes up on the die. Same concept here. Each troop has a set number of spaces they are allowed to move per turn. You always hear sportscasters talking about how a boxer has good range.
Same thing here in KoC. LOAD — this is how many resources that specific troop can carry. Not a whole lot more explanation needed for that one. How does it work? Your Alliance Headquarters level will be displayed here. Your level will increase each time you add or upgrade a building within the HQ. The Chancellor can authorize porting the Alliance HQ. Doing so will consume Alliance Portals that are stored in the Vault and the farther the HQ is to be ported, the more Portals will be consumed. A single Portal is capable of moving the Headquarters Distance on the Map. Only the Chancellor can commit to upgrading an Alliance building.
Upgrading a building will unlock new abilities or functionality and consumes resources and items stored in the Alliance Vault. Only one building can be upgraded at a time and will require the Chancellor to log-in and approve the final construction before it is available to all members. Construction can be sped up by using special Hourglasses stored within the Vault. Alliance HQ - Basics. The Chancellor of an Alliance will be able to found a Headquarters for the Alliance, similar to founding a new City.
Click on an empty Plain and you will be given the option to create your HQ. You will only be able to have 1 Headquarters active at a time and will be placed on a cooldown before you can create or close another HQ. Alliance Headquarters are not always open to attack by enemy forces.
Check the Caravans or forums for information on the current schedule or events. You now have an HQ Messages tab for your in-game mail back in your personal Cities. Your Alliance will be notified when HQ buildings are upgraded, items are donated, the HQ is moved, and other similar actions.

You can gain Crests by successfully attacking high level Wildernesses that are not owned by another player. You do not have to conquer the Wilderness, only be victorious in the battle. Please note that these Crests will not always be awarded. When defeating a Wilderness there is only a percentage chance of a Crest drop. If a Wilderness does not have all of its Troops meaning it has been attacked in the last hour , you will have a lesser chance of winning a Crest. The chance of a Crest drop increases with the level of the Wilderness.

You can set up your Barbarian Raids by following these steps:. Access your Map View you can find the view icons on the top left corner of your gamescreen.
Identify a nearby Barbarian Camp of your desired level, then select this Camp. At this point, you will see the following window:. Select the button that says "Raid. Once you click the "Raid" button, the window below will appear on your screen. Please follow the directions to assign Troops to your Raid:. Assign an appropriate amount of Troops to this March for the level of Barbarian Camp that you are raiding. Click on the drop down box to select a Knight to lead this March.
Review your Troops! Be sure that you are sending out only the Troops that you want to commit to this Raid. If all of the information is correct, click on the "Raid and Save" button. Your Barbarian Raid should now be marching! The information in this window should look like the picture below:.
You're all set to Raid now! If you do not suffer Troop losses with your Raid, your Troops will continue to attack the Barbarian Camp that you selected until the Raid Timer runs out. The Raid Timer runs for twenty-four hours, and will need to be reset manually each day. If you do not reset your Raid Timer, your Troops will not attack and you will stop gathering Resources. Be sure to check back on your Raids each day to get the most out of this feature!
Leading An Attack. In order to launch an attack, you will need an Unassigned Knight and some Troops. To launch the Attack, tap on the Map View tile you wish to assault and select Attack. Alternatively you can tap on your Rally Point and then tap the 'March Troops' tab.
From here, manually enter the coordinates of the tile you wish to Attack. Within the March Troops screen, select the Knight you wish to lead your Army and then the number of Troops you wish to send on the Attack. Tap 'Next' and choose an Attack bonus. When ready, tap the 'Attack' button. The March will begin and a timer will display showing the time remaining before the Troops reach their destination.

Should you sustain any losses, you will receive the necessary notification immediately so that you can adjust your Raid details. Wildernesses are regions on the Map that can be conquered and produce a variety of Resource production boosts or other benefits. When Hills are conquered your City will receive an increase to your Stone production. Conquered Grasslands and Lakes lead to increases in Food production in your City. When Woods are conquered, you will receive an increase to Wood production in your City. Conquered Mountains provide you with an increase in Ore production.
Plains allow you to build new cities or Portal one of your existing cities to this location. Bogs are impenetrable and cannot be attacked. Please note higher level Wildernesses yield a higher percentage of production boosts for the respective Resource, but they also have a larger amount of troops defending them. Additionally, attacking Wildernesses can reward you with Crests and Seals that help to win new City Deeds. All conquered Wildernesses will be listed in the Castle under the Wilderness tab.
Wildernesses that have been conquered can be defended with reinforced troops from your City or by building Traps and hiring Mercenaries to help protect them. Protect your Wildernesses to receive the maximum benefits in your City!
Tournaments Of Might. A Tournament of Might is a special contest in Kingdoms of Camelot that encourages you to quickly build as much Might as possible. In a Tournament of Might, individual players compete to have the greatest increase in Might on their domain. Increases in are only calculated for a set time frame. The amount of time you are given to increase your Might will always be announced before each tournament.
Players with the highest increase in Might are rewarded valuable in-game prizes such as Gems or rare Items! To enter a Tournament of Might you must complete any of the following tasks:. Winners will be determined based on the difference between their Might at the start of the Tournament and at the end of the Tournament. Announcements regarding upcoming Tournaments of Might can be found in your in-game messages or the Announcement Caravan, so be sure to keep an eye out for the next tournament on your domain!
Transporting Resources. Possessing a large amount of resources is an important part of acquiring more in Kingdoms of Camelot. Transporting resources between your Cities and your alliance members is a convenient way to assist in constructing buildings and training troops, so keep this in mind when helping alliance members.
To transport resources from your City, first select the Rally Point you wish to send resources from. In the window that appears click on the "March Troops" button. Next, click on the "Transport" tab.
In this menu you will be able to select:. The troops you want to use to carry your resources. The Knight you wish to lead these troops. The City or location to which you are transporting your resources.
You can choose a location to send your resources by clicking on a specific Bookmark, or typing the coordinates in manually. Finally, you must also choose the amount of resources that you wish to transport. In this screen it is also possible to add any boosts that you wish to apply to the march. This can be very helpful in transferring resources quickly, so please keep it in mind. Once you are ready to send your resources click "March" at the bottom of the screen and you are done! You can only transport resources to your other Cities and to alliance members.
If your friend is not an alliance member, you will not be able transport resources to that player. What are Aetherstones and how do I get them? Aetherstones are a new Resource type that are created in Dark Forests. There are a few ways to acquire Aetherstones:.
Killing Monsters in Dark Forests. Killing more powerful Monsters will provide more Aetherstones. In this case the Aetherstones will be added to your Resource count when your Knights return to your Cities. You can steal Aetherstones from other players! When you breach the Walls of an enemy City that contains Aetherstones, your Troops will steal the Aetherstones and bring them back to the City these Troops were sent from.
Scouts are unable to locate Aetherstones so you will not see a City's Aetherstone count in Scouting Reports. These Stones are far more cumbersome than normal Resources so each Aetherstone will require a Load of five compared to normal Resources which require a Load of one.
Aetherstones can be Transported between Cities, which will be necessary since each City can only hold a maximum of 1,, Aetherstones. Aetherstones will be needed to Craft Items using the Fey Spire and may be used for other purposes in the future. Appointing Knights. You will need at least one Knight inorder for send your Troops on an attack. How do battles in cities work? Attacking armies must defeat your army to plunder any resources not protected by your storehouse. You city loses 1 happiness if your army is defeated or absent and 5 happiness if the walls are defeated.

First realize that attacks will not destroy buildings or capture your city. This mostly works but does not protect your gold if they get past your walls. To avoid losing your troops, tell them to hide in the sanctuary do so in your castle. Set the troops to defend in your castle. I suggest focusing on the Hunker Down approach.
First, try talking to them in a reasonable way via e-mail. Few respond well to tirades or whininess. Queue up troops to get your resources down below your stores. To reduce gold you could spend it on research or happiness or hire knights or lower taxes. How do I increase my Might? Losing troops in combat will take their bonus out of your might total you will never lose levels that you have gained. Defensive units do not add to might. Lady Anna has said that eventually Might will also increase some with successful battles.
Why did my might just go down? See above. Maybe some of your troops died? Might is recalculated by the system every 15 minutes. Alliances are groups of players who join together for a common purpose. The members do not have to be facebook friends. A list of the alliances sorted by Might is viewable by clicking on the Alliance button at the top of the screen. What can Alliances do?
Alliance members can see details about their alliance on the Alliance screen. They can send resources or troops to allied cities go to the allied city on the map and click on the city. A city can host as many allied armies as the level of their embassy.
They also have their own chat room and forum to discuss alliance issues and plan their attacks. How do I join an Alliance? If an alliance officer sends you an invitation, you can accept the offer click on the alliance button at top of screen. Once you have a 1st level Embassy, you can ask to join an alliance through your Embassy.
Joining through your embassy is MUCH easier on the head of the alliance because they can see your might and accept you directly from their embassy instead of having to look you up and add you and then have you accept it later.
Alliances are limited to members and some require a minimum might, recommendation of another member, or frequent play. You can only be in one alliance at a time. Good question.
The alliance list sorts them by Might. Some are more violent, others are more defensive. Some help out new players and others only want advanced players. Decide what you want and ask around?
You can always change later. How do I create and grow my own alliance? You need a level 2 embassy to start you own alliance. When you create it you become the Chancellor of the alliance.
Once you have members you can choose to promote some to officer or Vice Chancellor positions. Officers get the mail that is sent to the alliance, Vice Chancellors gain the ability to set attitudes for the alliance, and both positions can accept and remove members.
What are Alliance attitudes and what effect do they have? When you set your alliance as Friendly to another alliance, your members no longer have the option of attacking their members. Setting it to Hostile has no other affect beyond making your intentions clear. How Do I Train Troops? Click on the Barracks and select the troops you want to train.
Be aware that troops eat food no matter where you put them. So try not to build beyond your capacity. You can dismiss troops in your barracks. How much does each troop type eat?
