Can you add sat nav to idrive

I can find several systems on fleebay, but am reluctant to purchase one if it will not fit my car etc. They are not a straight swap. I have seen a CIC unit complete from eastern europe and includes a free antenna.

A chance I know getting one from this site and also a different country. But the stock system I have now is next to useless. You'll have to have a closer look at my Nav mate, fixed speed cameras, Red Light cameras and School zones on the screen. Would be extremely useful. Always thought the BMW nav was lacking in anything other that direction giving. Having all the restaurant's phone numbers saved is cool though, very convenient when I need to make a last minute booking change. If you owned one you would probably realize its a waste of space. Just get a Tom Tom and be happy! It's the clean look and not having to stick and unstick something to the windscreen every time you want to use it.
